Abstract:
I argue that corporations should be understood as political actors because of their structural integration into the political process. On that basis it is possible to ascribe duties of justice to corporations. As an example I will argue that corporations such as the large automobile manufacturer Volkswagen have a duty of justice to stabilize the climate for the benefit of future generations.
