Energy strategry of the Khabarovsk kray: main points

Abstract: The paper considers key problems of the fuel and energy complex of the Khabarovsk kray. Substantiated are scenarios of this complex to 2015. The major priorities are reliable and diversified supply of fuel and energy, implementation of a comprehensive gas project and, on this basis, gas supply to consumers, changed structure of electric power generation and construction of a number of major projects in the energy system of the region, maintenance of own coal production basis and restructuring of the Urgal group of coal mining companies, development of the energy-saving policy in manufacturing, transport, utilities, technical updating and restructuring of electric public utility.
