Abstract: The paper considers major provisions of the Energy Policy Concept for the Eastern Russia Regions and the role which the soviet and postsoviet energy studies have played for the development of strategies. The paper also analyses the ongoing implementation of the Energy Policy Concept for the Eastern Russia Regions.
