Final use of energy in the Siberian Federal District

Abstract: The paper considers the methodical issues of building a statistical data base to analyze and to forecast energy consumption. The author analyzes and structures the energy consumption indicators, and offers an effective express-technique to forecast the short-term energy consumption in SFD. The paper presents the energy demand forecast and analyzes the teething trends of efficient energy consumption in SFD. The production output per consumed energy shows that SFD, despite its growing efficiency of energy consumption, still remains the most inefficient one among other RF districts.
