Economic potential of the Novosibirsk Oblast mineral resources complex

Abstract: The paper analyses the resource potential of the Novosibirsk Oblast and conditions, factors, and forms of its involvement in economic turnover. We calculated values of the solid commercial minerals economically important for this region. Our economic assessment of the regional resource potential allow the conclusion that, in principle, there is opportunity to build both new and up-to-date mining enterprises (with refinery run and processing of minerals) and local or large regional centers for economic growth.
