What motivates the researchers employed by the institutes of the SB RAS to participate in competitive tendering carried out by the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation

Abstract: The paper analyses what factors motivate the researchers of the Siberian scientific community to participate in competitive tendering carried out by the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation. Motivation is considered as an element of the human resource management specific for an organization operating within a special sector such as science. The paper presents the results of the sociological survey made for the institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
