On the issue of measuring an innovation factor: regional aspect

B.L. Lavrovsky (boris.lavrovski@mail.nsk.ru)

Journal "Region: Economics and Sociology", 2012, vol. 4

Abstract: The paper offers an approach to measuring an innovation component of regional growth. Our idea is to compare the results for different regions obtained by innovations and costs related to such innovations. We can state that our calculations made for some districts of the Russian Federation run do not counter to the existing opinions on the character of the progress taking place in the country.
