Extension Education in Bargaining among Midwest Livestock and Grain Producers

Harold D. Guither

American Journal of Agricultural Economics, 1973, vol. 55, issue 1, 58-60

Abstract: Midwest grain and livestock producers show substantial interest and support for bargaining to improve prices received, but they are less willing to participate in control of volume and orderly marketing efforts to make bargaining effective. However, agricultural bargaining offers an opportunity for creative educational efforts among these producers.
