Estimation of Irrigation Response from Time-Series Data on Nonirrigated Crops

D. W. Parvin

American Journal of Agricultural Economics, 1973, vol. 55, issue 1, 73-76

Abstract: Innovations in equipment have created interest in irrigation in the humid areas of the United States. However, decisions on the economic feasibility of irrigation are hindered because information on irrigation response is not available. A technique is presented (with empirical application) which approximates irrigation response from time-series nonirrigated data.
