Das Maynard Keynes Problem: Review Article
Bradley W Bateman
Cambridge Journal of Economics, 1991, vol. 15, issue 1, 101-11
Abstract:
This essay surveys and criticizes much of the recent literature which attempts to link John Maynard Keynes's early work in philosophy to his later work in economics. Virtually all of this recent literature undertakes to subvert Keynes's own statements that he repudiated his early work in philosophy and the implications of these claims are examined. The essay concludes that, in all likelihood, no one currently writing has discovered the true connection between Keynes's work in philosophy and his work in economics.
