Abstract:
This article presents an appreciation of the lifetime contributions of Luigi Pasinetti to economics. In a career spanning 70 years, Pasinetti operated at the frontiers of economic theory and analysis. The article covers his contributions to the economics of growth, distribution, capital, structural change, production and fiscal policy. It also provides an account of his intellectual formation and a checklist of his published works.
