Abstract:
—everyone calls for more and better information; — a better collection, dissemination and understanding of information is possible; — we observe a trend to a more transparent society; —I two examples (supply and demand forecasting and farm classification) of EEC work in this field are given; — appropriate decisions for an intelligent development of future agriculture, may not be possibly without improved knowledge and information.
