Abstract:
Computerized farm management decision aids and information systems are discussed. As a basis for the analysis and synthesis of a computerized farm management information system (CFMIS), important components of a CFMIS are defined and the characteristics of each component are discussed. Mostly, the resources available for running a CFMIS are limited. For the synthesis, a method for the optimal allocation of available resources to the components remains to be developed.
