Widowed Mothers’ Coresidence With Adult Children

Abstract: Objectives. Coresidence is one way that middle-aged offspring assist vulnerable, aging parents. This study investigated which characteristics of widowed mothers and adult children predict coresidence. When coresidence occurred, the analysis explored how individual children’s characteristics were associated with their coresidence with the mother.
