Abstract: Considering social security as an autonomous and distinct phenomenon, as a constant and growing concern of the authorities to protect people affected by certain risks, simultaneously and without any reservation, we must accept the existence of a social security law. Social security research in the European context is a necessary step for the national policy of social security, but also to identify and implement the necessary measures to fulfill the requirements of accession to "the European system." Nowadays, is clear that social security is a factor of progress and also a measure of social progress, of society’s evolution and of social policy.
