Abstract:
In our world the large amount of existing data and the need to convert and analyze this large amount of useful data has led to the concept of data mining. Using data mining techniques is driven by the urgent need, common to many fields, to store, access, describe, model, and especially to understand and effectively use of the large amounts of data. Lately the use of data mining in the field of academic analysis has proved particularly useful. This paper presents the concept and architecture of data mining systems, and also, is presented some of its applications in the field of university to study students' behavior.
