Abstract: The beginning of the XXI-st constitutes a period of deep changes in human resources management in Roumania and at European level. Decreasing the population number, especially the active population, decreasing the number of young population, aging the labour forces constitute a lot of sources with a huge impact on the methods and techniques used in human resources management.
