Abstract: The paper aims to synthesize aspects of development the systems the pensions in Romania to emphasize the threats at address the system of state social insurance. On this basis pleads for implementation of the system private optional pension which together with other measures in opinion of authors will reform this system insurance state a important step for solve the issues critical determined by demographic and economic developments.
