Abstract: The present paper deals with the specific picture on human resources, regarded from two viewpoints: the national available viewpoint and the managers viewpoint. It continues with the diferences between what comes out of school and what the labor market requires, the problems encountered in the field of HR in the last two years within the companies functioning on the romanian market, some of the solutions proposed and their effect on the romanian labor force.
