Abstract:
This article brings into question the increasing importance of creativity as a factor for regional development. For this purpose, it is briefly discussed the fine connection between culture, creativity and regional development and how creativity can increase the development of a region and ensure sustainable competitive advantages. In the final part, it is underlined the importance of the creative economy quantification and there are identified the main obstacles for such a step.
