Abstract:
This study aims to attract attention to the phenomenon of employment in two countries, Albania and Moldova, which are not members of the European Union. We intend to study this phenomenon, because of the importance it has on individual countries and at European level. We know that all European countries should harmonize their regulatory framework for organizing and operating statistics to EUROSTAT requirements. The studied statistics indicators are the following: - Working population - Employment rate - Unemployment rate. In the study both countries have been analyzed; statistical yearbooks, surveys of employment and labor market performed in Albania in 2009.
