Abstract: This study is premised on the idea that culture teaching and learning should become a staple in foreign language curricula, as it fosters cultural awareness and understanding and has a positive impact upon linguistic competence at the same time. The article illustrates specific strategies by means of which culture-related topics can be integrated into classroom content. Specific references will be made to the elements that prevent language instructors from using culture-related activities extensively in classroom setting. Throughout the study, culture learning will be defined as is a dynamic, developmental, and ongoing process which engages the learner not only cognitively, behaviorally but also affectively. More specifically, culture acquisition is the process of acquiring the culture-specific and culture-general knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for effective communication and interaction with individuals from other cultures.
