Abstract: The people’s desire and need to leave the polluted, crowded and noisy urban areas made them to move to places where they can be closer to nature, in a relaxing atmosphere and without pollution. There has been developed a different kind of tourism that allows tourists to integrate themselves in the rural society. This is also beneficial to the rural areas where these activities are carried on, allowing them to develop, especially to small localities which have a valuable tourist potential.
