EU funds absorption in Romania through Sectorial Operational Program for Human Resources Development between 2007 and February 2011 – an analysis

Abstract: One of the opportunities to finance succesful projects represents the european funds that Romania can access through the Operational Programmes implemented for 2007 2013 period. After more then three years the absortion level of these funds remains very low and the projects aproved to be financed face many difficulties during the implementation process. In this paper we try to indentify the state of the financing process for the most accessed operational programme – human resources development.
