Abstract: In recent years, the events which have unfolded on a local or global level have affected us with an ever-growing frequency. A new vision on economic growth is needed, which raises the problem of ending the “career” of the model used so far to produce obsessively, wasting the limited resources, putting a strain not only on the link between needs and resources, but also on life itself, both for today’s generation and for the future ones. In this context, this paper wishes to highlight the effects of the growth that brings poverty, as well as those of the relationship between growth and non-renewable resources.
