Needs of Changing the Budgetary Process at the European Union Level

Abstract: The recent economic developments of the Member States of the European Union emphasize the need for a continuous reform of the EU budgetary process. However, the significant economic distortions and the massive budget problems, of certain EU countries over the past two years, come to fill in the need to accelerate this process or completely change the mechanisms of the formation of the EU budget. The deepening of the national debt, for whatever reason, is perhaps one of the reasons why a difficult situation, in terms of budget, was reached. It is absolutely necessary to fully understand the budgetary needs at Community level, the causes that led to this concern, as well as the modification of the proposed budget processes so far.
