Abstract:
The National Strategy for Research, Development and Innovation for the period 2007-2013 is based on the vision of the Romanian society on the role of science, technology and innovation for the development of the knowledge society in Romania, for the economical and social progress [1]. The National Plan for Research, Development and Innovation 2007 – 2013, called herein the National Plan II, represents the main instrument used to implement the National Strategy for Research, Development and Innovation. This paper presents a study which aims to analyse the assessment criteria for the research projects submitted in the competitions from 2007, 2008 and 2011 as part of the Partnership Programme and to highlight the importance of improving the assessment criteria for the increase the quality of research projects submitted in competitions.
