Abstract: As it has been noticed, the global economic crisis has affected seriously commerce, not only at global level, but also at regional level, aspect valid also in the case of Romania. These aspects have been noticed also in the estimates made by the World Trade Organization which have showed that the trade flows of goods at global level have been compressed in the first three quarters of the year 2009 with 30% in comparison with the annual average. The theme of the article falls within a topic discussed and analyzed on the influences of exports on economic growth of Romania. The purpose of this article is to highlight a number of issues relating to the influences of exports from Romania. We can state that an increase of export in Romania will represent one of the most important engines of the economic growth.
