Abstract: If a few years ago, the banks in Romania didn`t put the problem of implementing a management a system of Customer Relationship Management (CMR), today things have changed, the subject learned the agenda of most Romanian banks. Thus we can say that the market in Romania has kept pace with international trends in this area and, finally, CRM is no longer a taboo subject for the credit institutions operating in our country. When it comes to market economy, buyers/consumers are free to choose what, when and where to buy a commodity or whether or not to buy/ a product or service. Therefore, in order to be successful in attracting customers, the logical starting point for an organization is to identify what is it that customers want and then try to fulfill these requests in a more efficient way than the competition.
