Abstract:
The paper is focused on the issues of optimization of the activities in logistics channel, considering reducing energy costs. Although a number of studies have been made over time regarding the optimization costs in the supply chain, few of them were directed towards reducing energy costs or increasing energy efficiency in logistic channel. The study highlights that increasing energy efficiency in the supply chain knows a variety of ways given that, on the one hand, the large numbers of activities and, on the other hand, the variety of forms of energy carriers and logistics channel.
