Recent Trends in Global M&A Activity

Abstract: In this paper we analyze the evolution of mergers and acquisitions operations after 2007 to the present. This analysis will be detailed by regions and sectors. We notice an irregular trajectory of this evolution, with ups and downs, and so 2014 should be one characterized by a slight increase in global mergers and acquisitions.
