Abstract:
During this period, in which the economical environment must face a significant effort to adapt to market conditions, the activity is conducted in a strong uncertainty and risks. So, the advanced and emerging economies, in which the Romanian economy is included must take with priority some measures, which lead to restoring confidence, ensuring a viable financial system, reviving economy with a direct impact on commerce sector. More than ever, the greatest challenge for the commerce sector is to continue to be efficient, competitive and sustainable, recognizing the fact that, on long-term, performance depends on durability. In this context, the diagnosis and the evaluation of an enterprise, through calculated indicators, are meant to highlight the economic agent’s ability to adapt and to survive in the market, in which it is acting, in a fierce competition and of course in the current conditions of instability.
