Considerations over the Foreseen Level of Government Gross Debt in Romania

Abstract: The current paper emphasizes, besides the definitions specific to the public debt concepts, the government public debt and the local public debt, as well as some data related to the gross government debt, in accordance to the European Union methodology, the analysis of influencing the economic growth under the estimations and as regards the level of government debt, financing the budgetary deficit and the estimated data, as regards the specific risks of the above mentioned terms. One of the most important tasks of those that manage the public debt refers to the identification of the specific risks, their evaluation and developing a strategy related to the predictable risks. The management politics of the debt portfolio and risks are carried out into practice in accordance to the Government approval.
