Abstract: The success of any investment activity, the performance and long-term sustainability of the business depend, to the same extent, on a number of fundamental decisions, either individual or collective, of the management team. Each of these decisions has, ultimately, an economic impact on the business. A common element of all the decisions is the fact that they are weighed in economic terms, so a decision, before being taken, is analyzed from the perspective of expected cash benefits, reported to the cash costs involved in this decision.
