Abstract:
Foreign direct investment flows are a key component of the issues manifested in the world economy, as they are financial resources targeted to a specific investment area, allowing those who invest to develop operations they can control and make decisions for. No doubt the main reason that urges a company to globalize its activities remains profit maximization. In recent years, the economic openness of many developing countries has included them as a strong potential investment market among the investment locations considered by the international business community, by transnational corporations. However, the global economic recession and the increased uncertainty of investment have led to a steady fall in global foreign direct investment in recent years.
