Abstract: The analysis of options represents a key aspect of this paper, representing the basis for the comparison of economic policies for creation of European transport corridors at the same time. The policy options that will be considered initially have been identified from the Commission documents and have been broken down into specific actions. The option analysis presented in the following consists in the examination of expected effects in the major dimensions of policies (e.g. the economic and social effects), of potential transformation aspects as well as of synergies offered by the short-term options.
