Abstract: ActiveX controls can be placed in Word documents, Excel spreadsheets or PowerPoint slides. These controls are selected from the Toolbox and they allow user interaction. A control has adjustable attributes (properties) and it detects events (it is “alive”). Controls are associated with code sequences, in the form of certain procedures, called event procedures.
