Abstract:
Energy has always represented a highly debated topic both in the academic and business world. Oil and gas are at the forefront of the key ingredients of the modern economies. The progress of human society was highly influenced by the development of oil and gas industry. During the time, big oil and gas companies have emerged all over the world and begun to dominate the industry. The paper aims at presenting the evolution of the largest oil and gas companies in the world in the period 2013-2014. Our methodological approach is based on a literature review.
