Abstract:
This paper wants to present the current situation of the relationship between the United Statesand Mexico, given their membership of NAFTA, but also the current US president's view of it. Inthis regard, an analysis of the main macroeconomic indicators of the two economies is made, bothat the level of 1994 and in the years 2015-2016, in order to find similarities and differencesbetween them, but also to place them in the picture of the world economy. The US-Mexico trade for the 18-year period (1999-2016) will also be discussed, as well as theopinion of the politician and businessman Donald Trump as the official US official. All this will beshown in the following rows.
