Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to analyze the current national and international context regarding thepossibility for public institutions to bring to the foreground environmental elements in theacquisitions, orientated to a sustainable development, in the context of maximizing the quality /price ratio in the use of public funds. Performance measurement and quantification are importantchallenges in complying with national and international policies.
