Abstract: The effects of the pandemic caused by the SARS COV-2 virus were felt on all industries, which had to adapt their activities to meet the new challenges. The human factor is the one that most intensely felt the implications of the pandemic, the professional activities being significantly influenced. This article aims to summarize the definitions in the literature on stress at work and to analyze the results of research obtained from surveys conducted one year and 2 years after the onset of the pandemic in order to analyze the evolution of stress and burnout concepts at work in Romanian companies.
