Abstract: Competitiveness, financial performance and operational performance are determinant factors of business performance. This study focuses on the comparative analysis of the evolution of these indicators in the Romanian IT sector in the 2019-2021 period. The results presented visually in this paper support the idea of a divergence between physical productivity and revenue productivity, by analyzing their possible development in the context of the numerical analysis of the businesses existing on the market. The results of the present study contain interesting conclusions and converge towards the awareness of the need for further research into the factors which influence business interest, its performance or efficiency.
