Abstract:
Abstract Michelle Robinson has gone from her Washington DC childhood and studying math and economics at Howard University to a career at BEA. She started working on estimates of federal social benefits and moved on to become a BEA ambassador, reaching out to users and stakeholders, and now works in the area responsible for dissemination of the National Accounts data. In addition, she chairs the team responsible for training National Accounts staff and is co-chair of the agency’s Diversity and Inclusion Council. She hopes her story is an example to others, especially members of historically underrepresented groups.
