Abstract: Abstract Since 1964, NABE has provided members with an in-depth profile of its members’ salary, compensation, and characteristics through its biannual Salary Survey. Since 2006, several econometric estimates of the relationship between member characteristics and compensation have been developed using the Salary Survey data. Aside from the informational value of those studies, the model results have formed the basis for the online Salary Calculator, designed to offer members a way to predict the impact of their professional attributes and job characteristics on average expected salary and compensation. This paper presents the results of this year’s model estimation based on the 2022 Salary Survey, published in August 2022 and available to members on the NABE website.
