Abstract:
Abstract There has been a gradual global change of consciousness that development must be done in a sustainable manner, including dealing with climate change and biodiversity loss. Policy innovation is just as important as technology innovation. Cross-disciplinary and cross-sector cooperation are vital for innovation and scaling-up, and the right platforms are needed. Universities can reimagine teaching and how their campuses function as sustainability ‘living labs’. The Greater Bay Area in China has opportunities to lead, including in the entertainment and gaming sector.
