Abstract:
Dwijen Rangnekar is an Associate Professor in Law at the University of Warwick's School of Law, having previously held a Research Council UK Academic Fellowship jointly at the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation and the School of Law. He has worked in various academic positions (University College, London and Kingston University, UK) and in civil society organizations (Actionaid, India). He has written extensively on a wide spectrum of issues concerning intellectual property in academic journals, commissioned reports, and popular media. One of his current areas of attention is geographical indications (www.warwick.ac.uk/go/feni), and he is working on a monograph, tentatively titled ‘Re-Making Place: The Social Construction of Geographical Indications’.
