Abstract:
Abstract This paper presents a methodology for placement of the items of surveys to obtain optimal reliability. A mathematical model is developed based on some specific structured assumptions for reliability and consistency. The problem is transformed into a mathematical optimization problem. We present solution methodology for the problem and also properties of the algorithm. An example is presented to illustrate our methodology.
