Abstract:
Health represents a factor having direct implications upon the normal carrying out of life and of economic and social activities, being perceived according to a triple perspective: political and demographic, social, and economic. Health financing is a complex process that systemically integrates the making up, collecting, allocating, and efficient use of the funds that are going to be employed by the health system. At a world wide level, after 1960, the amount of health expenditures increased so that it has doubled in most developed countries.
