Abstract:
This paper presents and explains the difficult financial situation of some small towns in Romania appeared during 2015-2016. The author considers that the analysed cases reflect a delicate and essential issue at the level of the Romanian local public administration - namely the situation of small and poor towns that reach to the conclusion that the village status would be more appropriate for them.
