Abstract:
The article makes a review of the role that the Stock Exchange has in the market economy and a short history of it in Romania. It also makes a presentation of the OTC (“over the market”) market – which is a component of the secondary capital market. The indisputable international leader of this market is NASDAQ, and for Romania the transactional system on the OTC market is RASDAQ
